The Menzingers at Union Transfer on November 25th

Philadelphia-based punk rock band The Menzingers are performing November 25th at Union Transfer with Touché Amoré and Screaming Females. Returning from touring in Europe, the band will be in Philadelphia for 2 dates to celebrate their 10 year anniversary of their third studio album, On the Impossible Past.

The Menzingers are known for telling stories powered by lyrics ranging from teenage angst to political frenzy. Consisting of Greg Barnett (vocals, guitar), Tom May (vocals, guitar), Eric Keen (bass) and Joe Godino (drums), they began the band as teenagers in 2006 and were later signed by the record label, Go-Kart Records.

Their 7th full length album, From Exile, dropped in 2020. They previously released music for Pepsi’s Eagle “Gameday Poster Playlist” to tell this season’s story of the 8th week’s home matchup with a song entitled, “Bad Actors”.

The group will be playing alongside Touché Amoré and Screaming Females. Post-hardcore band,  Touché Amoré began their career in 2007 in Los Angeles. Screaming Females emerged in the music scene in Brunswick, New Jersey in 2005, playing alternative indie. The line of bands are known to bring an excited, lively energy to the crowd.
