Built To Spill have extended their tour once again with additional West coast dates. The indie rock band has extended their tour into December with two nights at The Roxy in Los Angeles, California.
The alternative rock band has been on their big tour since summer 2022 which began with the announcement of fall dates. The tour has now extended into winter with nearly 20-dates from November through December thus far. The tour includes a two-night stop in Los Angeles on December 5 and December 6 at The Roxy. The shows are followed with a special performance at the Glass House in Pomona, California on December 8 before the band closes out 2022 with two shows at the famous venue Pappy and Harriet’s on December 9 and 10 in Pioneertown, California.
Recently, Built To Spill released their ninth studio album, When The Wing Forgets Your Name, on September 9. This is the first record release in seven years following the 2015 album Untethered Moon.
Built To Spill is an American indie rock band formed in 1992 with only a single permanent member, Doug Martsch. Initially, Martsch had envisioned a forever changing lineup, switching things up with every record release. However, the lineup remained stale for over a decade after signing with Warner Bros. Records. In 2017, the band announced its decision to leave Warner Bros. Records and return to its original intentions of continuing with forever changing lineups.
In 2021, Built To Spill was signed to Sub Pop. The band released their first album in five years on Sept. 9, 2022 and their first album under Sub Pop titled When the Wind Forgets Your Name.
