Girl Talk Mashup Taylor Swift’s “Anti-hero” & Diana Ross’s “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”

After transitioning from churning out one hit mashup after the other in the late 2000s to sporadically releasing music, Girl Talk‘s Gregg Gillis has returned with massive new track. His newest crossover pairs Taylor Swift‘s recent chart-topping “Anti-hero” with Diana Ross‘s 1970 version of Marvin Gaye and Tami Terrell’s “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” Check it out below:

This modern-pop retention of Ross’s Motown classic fits naturally and almost sounds like an original song that was conceived in the above format. How Gillis imagined both these songs working so perfectly together is tough to say, but his genius in this case (as well as countless others) is undeniable.

The American DJ went back to dabbling with pop music earlier this year by combining Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul” with Ellie Goulding’s “Lights.” This has now become a staple of his live performances.
