Today Talking Heads‘s keyboardist and guitarist Jerry Harrison and touring guitarist Adrian Belew have announced the Remain in Light 2023 US Tour which is a 19-date North American tour that celebrates one of the greatest albums of all time.
Previously both Harrison and Belew made their return for a performance back in September and before that concert both musicians performed with Turkuaz on a short 2020 jaunt. The Remain in Light 2023 US Tour starts on February 16 with a three-night stand in Colorado before taking in the cities Chicago, Toronto, New York City and small Akron, Sayreville, before wrapping up on March 11 in New Haven, Connecticut. Throughout the whole tour Harrison and Belew will be supported by Cool Cool Cool, which are the former members of Turkuaz.
“Remain in Light is a high point in my career. Adrian and I had often discussed the magic of the 1980 tour and the sheer joy it brought to audiences. It is such a delight to see that joy once again in the audiences on the current tour.” said Harrison
“A joyful show of Talking Heads songs you know and love performed by a hot, eleven-piece ensemble including Jerry and me, You can’t help but dance and go home with a happy smile on your face.” said Belew
