Puscifer Share Video For “Man Overboard” From ‘Parole Violator’ Concert Film

Known for their visceral thematic and cinematic concert tours that “meet at the intersection of music and theater,” rock group Puscifer’s latest multimedia-laced feature-length concert film “V is for Versatile: A Puscifer Concert Film” featuring music from the group’s “V is for…” era and their other featured concert film “Parole Violator” featuring Conditions of My Parole, has just been granted a viewing extension. “From a “Hee Haw”-style jamboree to a televangelist revival, from sitting ringside at a Lucha Libre match to the advent of Agent Dick Merkin and the Pusciforce, Puscifer’s transition from live performances to film is a natural extension of the music-meets-acting troupe.”  Fans of the rock band can now watch clips from the film via Puscifer TV. These dual concert film streaming events are now available for viewing until November 7, instead of their initial closing date on November 1.

To rouse support for the band’s newest concert films, this band hailing from Arizona released a video stripped from “Parole Violator: A Puscifer Concert Film featuring Conditions of My Parole” for their single “Man Overboard, whose themes touch upon and hint at the themes and tone of the overall concert film. In the film “Billy D is in jail, Hildy is on the warpath, and Peter Merkin, as usual, is up to no good. The saga of the Bergers continues as Puscifer pairs the duo’s ongoing melodrama with a live, track-by-track re-imagination of the band’s critically-acclaimed 2011 album, Conditions of My Parole.”

Backed by lightning flashes and cloudy storm-wrought skies, Puscifer’s live performance provoked cinematic nods to the band’s 2011 album through its distressing array of colors that continually disappears and reappears without notice or any prior sign. When asked about the pandemic’s role in sparking the band’s creative interest in adopting the at-home concert experience and the resulting shift to film, Maynard James Keenan responded that “Those with creative minds are restless. Lockdown was only physical, not mental…The Pandemic was the perfect springboard and opportunity for us all to flex our creative muscles. Here is more evidence.”

Puscifer has also announced a reimagined existential reckoning album set to be released in December 2022.
