Oliver Heldens at LIV on Nov. 26th

Oliver Heldens is performing in Miami at LIV on November 26th.

Dutch electronic dance producer and DJ Oliver Heldens is seen as one of the primary figures of the future house scene. He incorporates numerous styles of dance music, including techno and breakbeat house, into his well-known tracks, but also combines deep house with big room and progressive house into songs such as “Gecko (Overdrive)”. The tracks produced under his real name are melodic with a funky fusion. Since 2015, he has released moody, heavier club tracks under the name HI-LO.

Heldens began his career remixing singles under  the CR2 label in early 2013. He found himself remixing Martin Garrix’s huge hit “Animals”. In 2015, Heldens launched his Heldeep Records label with the single “Renegade Mastah” by HI-LO. He also remixed bangers by  celebs who were having one of the best years of their career like the Chainsmokers, Katy Perry, Calvin Harris, and more in 2016. Early 2019 held the release of the single “Summer Lover” (featuring Devin and Nile Rodgers). “Turn Me On,” which sampled the synth hook from Yaz’s “Don’t Go” became a major hit across the globe, earning gold/platinum certifications in multiple countries. Never Look Back,” co-written and sung by Syd Silvair, dropped in early 2021 as well as “Ma Luv”.

Melanie Stewart: Hi! My name is Melanie and I am a music business/management student at Berklee College of Music. As a young child, I began vocal training and continued up until my second year of college. My experience in music has lead me to many opportunities including performing at local clubs/cafes, joining a band, and writing my own music amongst other things. Outside of music, I have a passion for business and design. I have been able to create my own business as well as co-design a website for a peer project to be used for their company. I hope to perfect my skill and further my education.
