As tickets begin to sell out for the 2023-2024 World Tour, Blink-182 has added several additional dates to the tour. Los Angeles received a second date at the Banc of California Stadium as well as San Diego at the Pechanga Arena. Due to the overwhelming demand, the band has also included extra dates for Chicago, Detroit, New York, Toronto and many more.
Last week, the band announced that they have reunited with founding member Tom DeLonge. The breaking news was followed with the announcement of a 2023 world tour with the original band’s lineup. The classic lineup of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker also released a new single titled “Edging” on Friday, Oct. 14. This is the first time DeLonge rejoins his fellow band mates since 2015.
In 2021, it was stated by various publications that DeLonge reached out to Hoppus after the news of his cancer diagnosis. All three original bandmates met at Hoppus’ home and hashed things out from the past. Needless to say it did not come to a surprise to hear that the three original member would have reunited. The band is expected to release a new album sometime next year.
Blink-182 was formed in 1992 in California by Hoppus and DeLonge. Barker joined in 1998 after the original drummer was dismissed. In 1999 the band released their third and biggest album, Enema of the State, which features hit songs “What’s My Age Again?” and “All the Small Things.”
