Metallica is set to host their third Helping Hands benefit show on Dec. 16 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The Helping Hands Concert and Auction will benefit Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on supporting sustainable communities through workforce education, fight against hunger and other local services.
The Helping Hands Concert will include a special performance by the legendary band Metallica. It will also include an auction. Normally, Metallica hosts monthly fundraisers in which they auction off unique experiences fans can share with the band as well as memorabilia, autographed objects. Guests will be able to bid this December on unique Metallica memorabilia and more to support the All Within My Hands Foundation.
Metallica will be joined by Greta Van Fleet for the benefit show. Ticket sales will directly benefit Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation. The band’s non-profit was established in 2017 as a way for the group to give back to the communities. The organization’s proceeds entirely go directly to help those in need.
The first Helping Hands benefit concert debuted in 2018 in San Francisco, followed by a second benefit show in 2020 via live stream. All proceeds from the benefit show’s ticket sales and merchandise sales go directly to the foundation to help communities in need. Throughout their tours, Metallica also donates a portion of ticket sales to local food banks near venues in which they perform.
