Ryan Adams plans to make a stop in Chicago for his 2022 tour. The singer-songwriter is scheduled to perform on Oct. 20. Historical venue The Chicago Theatre will host Adams’ upcoming show.
In 2022, Adams produced four separate albums throughout the span of six months. Chris dropped on April Fools’ Day as the first of his four 2022 LPs. As part three of a musical trilogy, Chris concludes the themes introduced in 2020 Wednesdays and continued in 2021 Big Colors. Near the end of April, Adams released Romeo & Juliet for listeners to enjoy during the then-approaching summer. Next, the artist dropped FM in July. Most recently in September, Adams published his fourth LP of 2022: Devolver. Concert attendees can expect Adams to perform tunes from his vast repertoire of recent songs.
In 1994, folk rock artist Ryan Adams started his professional music career by co-founding Whiskeytown, an alternative country music band in North Carolina. When the millennium kicked off six years later, so did his solo career. Starting with his debut LP Heartbreaker in 2000, Adams has released 22 studio albums during his solo career. Some of his most popular albums include Easy Tiger in 2007, Ashes & Fire in 2011, self-titled recording Ryan Adams in 2014, 1989 in 2015 and Prisoner in 2017, all of which hit charts globally.
