Travis Scott at E11even on Oct. 29th

“Goosebumps” rapper, Travis Scott, will be performing live at elite night club E11even on October 29th. 

Jacques Berman Webster II, also known as Travis Scott, is a popular American rapper, songwriter and producer. Scott was born in Houston, Texas, and began making music as a teenager. He dropped out of college to move to New York and then Los Angeles and pursue music. This is where he met artist T.I. and was later out to the task to produce Kanye West’s record label, Good Music. Living in South Park, Houston with his grandmother till the age of six, Scott proclaimed the city was riddled with crime. He said it had left its mark on him for life. Later he moved to a middle-class suburb, Missouri City, to live with his parents. Scott had grown up with music in the family as his father and grandfather were soul and jazz musicians. 

Travis Scott produced the smash-hit “Bitch Better Have My Money” worldly known by the artist Rhianna. Around the end of the year, his song “Antidote” reached number 16 on the Hot 100 and became his first ever platinum single. (2016) Three months later, after “Bitch Better Have My Money” attained platinum status, Travis Scott’s second genuine album was released, bringing about his third long play. Scott had the chance to feature with many in-demand artists such as Drake, 2 Chainz, and Trippie Redd which have since become platinum records. “Butterfly Effect” was promptly released during this whirlwind of popular artistry in 2017 and swiftly became platinum to boot. The next year, around the same time frame, Scott released a track featuring Kanye West and Lil Uzi Vert titled “Watch”, and three months after, released Astroworld. His success did not slow him down as he dropped his single, “Highest in the Room.” JackBoys, known to be a short collection displaying artists from Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Record Label, arrived at the end of the year in 2019.
