Mystikal Pleads Not Guilty to Alleged Rape, Robbery, Abuse and Drug Possession Charges

Rapper Mystikal has allegedly entered the not guilty plea to Louisiana’s Ascension Parish court in response to the charges of alleged degree of  rape, alleged domestic abuse battery (strangulation, false imprisonment), alleged drug possession, alleged simple robbery and alleged simple criminal damage to property.

Mystikal was arrested on Sunday, July 31, in Prairieville, Louisiana and last month the rapper was charged for allegedly raping and allegedly choking a woman inside his home. In the state of  Louisiana a first first-degree rape charge does carry a life sentence. Also the rapper was accused alleged having possession of the drugs heroin, marijuana, methamphetamine and Xanax at the time of the arrest.

This hasn’t been the first time Mystikal has been in trouble with the law. In 2017 the rapper was charged with alleged rape and alleged kidnapping which sent him to jail for 18 months before posting three million dollar bail. The charges were eventually dropped but in 2003 the rapper  plead guilty to the charges of alleged sexual battery and alleged extortion where he served a prison sentence from 2004 to 2010. The rapper allegedly was issued an additional 81 days in jail for allegedly breaking the rules of his probation back in 2012 and Mystikal was arrested earlier that year for alleged domestic battery.

Mystikal ‘s next court appearance will be on October 17.
