Explosive K-pop girl group BLACKPINK is set to perform for two nights at the United Center. The Born Pink World Tour stop in Chicago spans from Nov. 10-11. Ticket pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. on Sept. 13.
The group’s trek around the globe starts in Oct. 2022 and ends in June 2023, potentially with more dates to come. The Born Pink World Tour celebrates BLACKPINK’s highly anticipated sophomore album BORN PINK, set to drop on Sept. 16, with two singles already released: chart topper “Pink Venom” in August and animated video exclusive “Ready for Love” in July. BLACKPINK, often referred to as K-pop’s biggest girl group, formed in Seoul, South Korea. In 2016, members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa debuted singles “WHISTLE” and “BOOMBAYAH” as part of SQUARE ONE. The tracks were instant hits, and the music video for “WHISTLE” exceeded 800 million YouTube views. Their fun and fierce energy alongside catchy lyrics and sassy dance moves appealed to fans worldwide, launching the group to mainstream success. Since their debut, BLACKPINK released 2020 LP THE ALBUM, held two concert tours, and collaborated with notable artists such as Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez and Cardi B.
