Cuco is coming to Austin, Texas on August 30th

The Mexican American (Chicano) singer Omar Banos known as Cuco is visiting Austin, Texas next August 30th. Cuco is a singer-songwriter and record producer from California.

Cuco started playing music at the age of eight, and he found joy in experimenting with different instruments. By the time he was 15, he had experimented with the french horn, bass guitar, drums, keyboard, trumpet, and guitar.

This artist can be considered a self-made musician because he began producing and releasing songs from his home and releasing them onto Bandcamp and SoundCloud. He taught himself how to use Ableton Live in order to produce his own music. The result of this was his first mixtape Wannabewithu in 2016.

In 2017 he started playing at clubs in Southern California and gained success real quick since he did sell out his first two venues. The same year Cuco released “Lo Que Siento.” After this first single was a success reaching more than 128 million streams only on Spotify, Cuco decided to drop out of school to pursue a music career.

Cuco is on Tour all over the United States now.
