This September, rock band Weezer is coming to New York next month for a 5-day residency, starting on September 13th. From September 13th-September 18th, they will be hosting a show at Broadway Theatre everyday. Each day will correspond with a season from their EP, with September 13th starting off their series of shows, starting with the season “Spring.”
Weezer is an alternative band from Los Angeles, California that formed in 1992. The members are lead vocalist Rivers Cuomo; guitarist Brian Bell; bassist Matt Sharp; and drummer Patrick Wilson. The band released their self-titled album in 1994, and became a success. In 2005, their single “Beverly Hills” became a hit, and it was their first single to reach the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100. Over the years, the band has created many successful tracks. This year, they released their EPs covering two seasons, “SZNZ: Spring” and “SZNZ: Summer.” They plan on releasing Fall and Winter as well. They will be performing music from these extended plays during their upcoming shows, starting off with “SZNZ: Spring” on September 13th.
