One of the rock’s most successful bands will be in Austin, Texas soon. If you consider yourself a part of The Victims (A fan of The Killers), you can’t miss this event in the music capital of the United States.
Big things often have small beginnings, and The Killers are living proof that this is real. The band from Las Vegas, Nevada started local and soon enough they earned global success. Brandon Flowers the founder of the band had parted ways with his former music group after he refused to move to Los Angeles with them.
Flowers decided to stay in Las Vegas where he soon met a local guitarist. The two began working together on music and they would compose “Mr. Brightside” within a few weeks, which became a radio hit.
A British label found The Killers. This is where The Killers start their global adventure. The Killers temporarily moved to the United Kingdom and issued a limited edition for “Mr. Brightside.” After the United Kingdom, The Killers were offered an opportunity in New York, and this was just the beginning of an era.
This band that started playing at local spots in Las Vegas, is now considered one of the biggest rock bands of the 21st Century. This band has performed in over 50 countries and six continents. The Killers have sold 28 million records worldwide and 10.8 million in the US alone.
