Scottish rock band Franz Ferdinand is going on their US tour from August through September, stopping in New York City on August 13th.
Franz Ferdinand is a rock band that formed in the year 2001 from Glasgow, Scotland. Current members include: Alex Kapranos, Bob Hardy, Julian Corrie, Audrey Tait, and Dino Bardot. The band is extremely successful in Europe, particularly in the U.K. The band has won multiple awards, including an MTV Video Music Award, multiple NME Awards, and 2 Brit Awards. One of their most notable singles, “Take Me Out,” sold over a million copies in the U.S.; reached No. 3 in the UK charts; and reached No. 32 on the Billboard 200. One of their latest singles, “Billy Goodbye,” was released in November 2021, and is one of two new songs on their greatest hits album (which their tour is named after), “Hits to the Head.”
