Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale Reacts to Overturn of Roe v. Wade: “I’m Angry, Disgusted, Heartbroken and Terrified”

The United States has been in a state of unrest since the conservative-leaning Supreme Court overturned a 1973 decision to legalize abortion. Among the millions who have voiced their frustrations is Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale, who posted a statement detailing her distaste for the regressive ruling.

On Tuesday, Hale shared the following message on Instagram:

As per a CBS News/YouGov poll, 59% of U.S. adults disapprove of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade, while over half (52%) call the decision a step backward for America. Among women, two-thirds (67%) disapprove of the ruling, with 56% majority of women saying that the decision will make the lives of most American women worse.
