Arcade Fire has added a second date at the Kia Forum after selling out their first show on Wednesday, November 16th. Due to the high demand for their We World Tour, they’ve added a second date at the Forum on Thursday, November 17th.
The Canadian band was formed in the early 2000s and quickly earned a reputation for their popular transcendent live performances. Arcade Fired has earned nine GRAMMY nominations, our Juno awards, an Academy Award nomination and more throughout their career. This year, the band released their sixth album, We.
The indie rock band is also widely known for their political activism, constantly speaking up for human rights. The most recent instance was during their Mother’s Day performance in Saturday Night Live as Win Butler gave his opinion regarding Roe V. Wade: “A woman’s right to choose forever and ever and ever. Amen.” Arcade Fire follows the release of their latest record with their first world tour since 2018.
The We World Tour launches on Tuesday, August 30th in Dublin and runs through December 2nd in Toronto. The North American leg of the We Tour features special guest acts such as Beck and will kick off on October 27th in Washington D.C. and features two consecutive dates in Los Angeles, California. Arcade Fire has partnered with PLUS1, donating $1 for every ticket sold to KANPE, an organization supporting the most vulnerable communities in Haiti.
