Girlpool is celebrating their latest album, Forgiveness, with a major tour across North America. The tour is set to include stops in major cities such as Chicago, Atlanta, Austin, and Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles based indie rock band, Girlpool, formed by friends Avery Tucker and Harmony Tividad. In 2014, the duo released their EP Girlpool on Baandcamp and re-released it later on Wichita Recordings. A year later, Girlpool released their first official album titled Before the World Was Big followed two years later by Powerplant. In 2018, the group performed at the Sasquatch Music Festival in which they performed their impressive dream pop and indie rock mixed songs.
Girlpool is not only known for their indie sound, but also for their transparency with fans. In 2020, the band released Chaos Demos, demos and tracks from their album What Chaos Is Imaginary, on their Bandcamp which included a write-up from Avery’s personal reflection on being a trans man in a band called Girlpool.
The group recently released their fourth studio album Forgiveness. In promotion of their album, Girlpool is touring across North America and conducting several live stream performances. Girlpool will be concluding their tour in Los Angeles, on October 8th.
