Christian Death Shares Dark New Song And Video “The Warning”

Gothic death rock pioneers Christian Death have revealed the music video for their brand new single, “The Warning”, which is taken from their upcoming new full-length LP Evil Becomes Rule.

The video features eerie clips of a woman dancing, who then bursts into flames, skeletal remains in a ditch and a clip of what appears to be a crucifixion. The dark video is sure to leave viewers either pleased or uneasy. Watch the video below!

In February, the gothic death rock band announced that their full-length album, Evil Becomes Rule, will be released on May 6. The album will include 11 songs and will be their first album in 7 years after The Root Of All Evilution. The album’s cover art was conceptualized by Valor, lead singer and guitarist of the band, and created by Phil Worobey. It depicts a puppeteer controlling what appears to be the mindless masses as they look down at their phone screens. Evil Becomes Rule is an artistic expression that will blend elements of gothic rock, post-punk and dark pop that will influence the next wave of gothic rock. The album can be pre-saved across digital streaming services here.

In addition to the upcoming album, the band will be going on their North American tour in May, which will include a back-to-back appearance during both days of the Cruel World Festival in California. The tour will take place throughout May. It is set to start on May 5 in Akron, OH and wrap up in Brooklyn, NY on May 29. Tickets are on sale now!

I'm very interested in how messages flow to audiences, small or big, and how technology influences communication over time, whether it is socially, politically, or through the workforce. Music is a big passion of mine, and I enjoy learning about new artists, new songs, and understanding how music influences society in many ways. As an intern at Mxdwn, I'm excited to be an influence to other people who have just as big of a passion for music as myself. I hope that my writings are captivating and full of great information, but I also well can't wait to learn more about the entertainment industry!
