Melvins Share Psychedelic Cover Of Soundgarden’s “Spoonman” Featuring Matt Cameron

Melvins have released their rendition of Soundgarden‘s 1994 single “Spoonman“. Soundgarden’s very own Matt Cameron makes an appearance on thie cover, joining Melvins’ Dale Crover. The song also comes with a trippy visual filled with different clips and colors. Check it out below.

The cover comes from the band’s latest EP “Lord Of The Flies“. It features three additional tracks including a cover of Led Zeppelin‘s “Misty Mountain Hop” and Devo‘s “Uncontrollable Urge.“

They recently covered The Rolling Stones”Sway,” which was a part of their acoustic EP titled “Five Legged Dog.” The LP features 36 acoustic renditions of the band’sgreatest hits including “Lovely Butterfly,” “Boris,” “Bad Pope,” “Billy Fish” and “Night Goat.” It also includes covers as well such as The Rolling Stones’ “Sway,” Alice Cooper’s “Halo of Flies” and Fred Neil’s “Everybody’s Talking.”

They recently canceled their New Years’ Eve performance in Las Vegas due to the rise of COVID-19. Melvins previously covered this song live at the 2019 ‘I Am The Highway: A Tribute To Chris Cornell‘ concert.
