Metal legends Arch Enemy recently released their new single “House of Mirrors,” which follows their first single in four years, “Deceiver, Deceiver.” The video is just as whimsical and mystical as the title, with smoking fireworks and immense statues staring over the band. “Musically, this is an idea that has been bouncing around in my head for a while, and finally it got finished,” guitarist Michael Amott said in a press release. “It all started with the guitar motif that kicks off the track, which naturally leads to the galloping 80’s-metal feel of the verses. As is always the case with us, we had quite a few different arrangements and demos of this song until it was, dare I say, fckn perfect!”
When Behemoth announced an upcoming album this past February, they had also hinted at the possibility of going on tour with Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz of the band also frequently works with her sister Jasamine White-Gluz, adding screams to her song “Dream Rats” and starring in the video for the track.
