Okilly Dokilly Announce 2022 Tourdilly Do Tour Dates Featuring Steaksauce Mustache

Rarely do novelty acts see enough success to go on multiple tours. Okilly Dokilly, however, has been touring since 2016 and has now released the dates for their 2022 farewell tour. The Ned Flanders-themed metal band (cleverly described as a “Nedal” band) will be traveling across the US throughout the spring on their “Tourdilly Do ‘22.”

The tour will kick off on April 14 in Tulsa, OK, and end on May 7 in Austin TX, stopping in major cities such as Nashville, Brooklyn, Boston, Chicago and Dallas along the way. The Oregon-based metal/comedy band Steaksauce Mustache will join the group on the tour.

According to Consequence, the band never expected to play many shows, let alone go on several tours: “Okilly Dokilly did way more than I ever expected,” said singer Head Ned. “I’m really grateful for all the people who have been part of it. And especially to everyone who came out to our shows to say howdilly doodilly. We’ve been touring pretty relentlessly since 2016 and, last year, I became a dad. So it’s time for a break. It’s time for me to shave off the Ned mustache and grow the dad mustache.”

In 2019, the band released their second studio album Howdilly Twodilly and shortly after planned their Reneducation Tour in celebration of the album. The following year, they planned a similar tour to share their piece “When The Comet Gets Here.” For now, the band does not plan on making music or going on tours in the future.
