Electronic music fans can look forward to Memorial Day Weekend next year when the Lightning in A Bottle Music Festival is returning to the stage. The festival is set for May 25-30, 2022, in Buena Vista Lake, California. Do LaB, the originators and creators of the festival, recently announced the lineup for the festival, and prominent names of the genre are expected to perform.

The event is divided into three stages: Lightning, Thunder and Woogie. The Lightning stage, which the press release describes as “a central artery through which live and electronic icons thrive,” will feature the Glass Animals, Kaytranada, Chet Faker, SG Lewis, Purity Ring, Little Simz and more. Earlier this year, Glass Animals shared “I Don’t Want to Talk (I Just Want To Dance),” an energetic anthem sure to vitalize the crowd.

The Thunder stage showcases multiple genres and this year will host Big Wild, CloZee, Ekali, G Jones B2B EPROM, LSDream, Mr. Carmack and OPIUO. The Woogie stage is known as the festival’s house and techno hideaway, South-African forerunner Black Coffee, Four Tet, Seth Troxler, Maya Jane Coles. In addition to featuring these artists, the festival will continue partnering with LIB alumni RÜFÜS DU SOL in support of their November performance in LA.

“Come experience something that feels distinctly Do LaB in its original breeding grounds of Downtown Los Angeles,” reads the press release. “Known as an early supporter of RÜFÜS before the band went on to play some of the world’s most famed stages, Do LaB remains ingrained in their Los Angeles identity and beyond.”

LIB will also feature a new experience for attendees who wish to camp out during the five-day festival, called Atlaswyld. The boutique camping experience will feature luxurious glamping options, culinary programming and Happy Hour mixers. Tickets for the festival go on sale on Nov. 5.
