Four months after the settlement between Nike and MSCHF Product Studio over Lil Nas X’s devilish kicks, he wonders why no one is having huge fuss over Tony Hawk’s Blood Deck. The Hawk Blood Deck board, as revealed by canned water company Liquid Death, is infused with Hawk’s blood and mixed with red paint, according to billboard.
Hawk’s Blood Deck sold out its 100 units while the proceeds went to killing plastic pollution and building skate parks in underserved communities. Lil Nas X worked together with MSCHF design company to launch his 666 shoe campaign which could have possibly had blood in them and only contained in the midsole (the part of the shoe that is presumably white and closes to the bottom of the shoe).
