Poppy is a singer-songwriter that went viral in 2014 for her peculiar YouTube videos in which she portrayed an android-like character that commented on society. In 2015, she released her debut song “Everyone Wants to Be Poppy.” Poppy has made a name for herself due to her unique performances and genre-bending music that includes pop, rock, and experimental. Poppy earned her first Grammy nomination this year, becoming the first solo female artist to be nominated for Best Metal Performance. Her fourth-studio album Flux is set to release on September 24th, 2021, and is said to include completely new and creative sounds.
