Sometimes in showbiz the most incongruous parings turn out to be the most entertaining. Last Thursday, two vastly different kind rulers got together and gifted us with an interaction that proved to be weird yet amusing.
Blothar the Berserker, lead vocalist of the heavy metal band GWAR, took his otherworldly wisdom to the airwaves when he went on The Greg Gutfeld show on Fox News. Under what pretense brought this pair together? The topic of aliens of course.
In what was actually his second appearance on Fox News, Blothar answers a wide variety of alien related topics ranging from alien edibility to giant anal probes that had the Fox News host and studio erupting in laughter.

Gutfeld jokes that though scientists are working hard to find alien life and technology throughout space, we shouldn’t care about their fruitless pursuits, for “the leader of the greatest band that is or ever will be,” lives right here on earth and represents alien life itself. Blothar seems to agree wholeheartedly with this sentiment and he even makes a confession that he appears in a form that humans brains can handle. Otherwise we would collectively crap our slacks.
Throughout this interview Gutfeld and Blothar demonstrate bizarre chemistry, with both of them agreeing at one point of mutual arousal and Gutfeld coyly proposing to “continue the interview somewhere else.” This borderline sexual energy continues to bloom when Gutfeld asks how many “holes” Blothar has on his body and he retorts that it would be hard to make his body “airtight.”
Amongst his many one liners, Blothar imparts to us that alien life tastes like chicken, all alien life forms are hideous and that radioactive boars and domestic pigs mating is cause for celebration.
The interview concludes with Gutfeld imploring his audience to “buy GWAR,” thus proving that heavy metal and conservative news networks can indeed coexist on earth.
