Thy Antichrist is a black metal group that originated in Medellin, Colombia and formed in Dallas, Texas in 1998. Thy Antichrist is named after Friedrich Nietzsche’s book The Antichrist. Andres Vargas, better known by the stage name Antichrist 666, is the founder and frontman of the metal horror group. Antichrist 666 is accompanied on stage by guitarist Abyssus, bassist Frost Giant and drummer Oricuss.
The band has created their own genre and named it tragic existentialist black metal. Their music revolves around santanism and existentialism. The black metal group creates an impeccable show for fans as they fully cover themselves in full body paint and costumes submerging their audience in their black metal underworld.
