Goth Rock Pioneer Bauhaus to Perform at Kings Theatre on 11/2

English Goth Rock band Bauhaus will be performing at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre on Tuesday, November 2nd. Tickets go on presale on Thursday, June 17th at 10:00am, and will be on sale to the general public Friday, June 18th. On the day of the concert, doors open at 7:00pm, with the show scheduled to start at 8:00pm.

Bauhaus, formed in 1978, is one of the pioneering figures of goth rock. Their debut single, “Bela Lugosi’s Dead” was a hallmark of goth rock and remained in U.K. independent charts for years. Mainstream success for Bauhaus came in 1982 after their third album, The Sky’s Gone Out peaked at number 4 in the U.K.. The band ultimately broke up in 1984 — although they briefly reformed in 2008 to release their fifth album — and hasn’t toured in over a decade.

The Brooklyn Kings Theatre show is one of five scheduled Bauhaus shows in 2021 and 2022. This may be one of the last times that Bauhaus performs together, so if you want a chance to see the 80s goth rock icons in concert this is a great opportunity.

UPDATE (6/28): Bauhaus has added a second NYC show at Kings Theatre on November 3rd. Tickets for the show go on sale June 30th.
