Osees are scheduled to perform 2 nights perfectly on a Friday and Saturday of October 1st and 2nd at Hotel Vegas in east Austin at 9 pm both nights. This show has already sold out, but there are always tickets being sold elsewhere, so keep your eyes open! A great place to find second-hand tickets is on the Facebook event created by the venue, or just before the show out front of the venue!
Osees is a garage and psychedelic noise rock band from San Francisco, California founded in 1997 where they now reside in LA. The band, having gone through multiple iterations of members throughout the years, is currently comprised of John Dwyer, primary songwriter and core member (vocals, guitar), Tim Hellman on bass, Dan Rincon, and Paul Quattrone on drums, and Tomas Dolas on keys.
The band was originally an outlet for Dwyer to release some experimental creations that were home-recorded to then evolving into a full band. Over the course of several releases, The Oh Sees have been noticed and created a reputation for their energetic live shows, whimsical visual aesthetics, and prolific discography. The band has gone through many different band names throughout the course of performing including Orinoka Crash Suite, OCS, Orange County Sound, The Ohsees, The Oh Sees, Thee Oh Sees, and Oh Sees.
