Catch Former Mötley Crüe Frontman John Corabi at the Whisky A Go Go 3/18/21

The former lead singer of Mötley Crüe, Union, The Scream, The Dead Daisies and guitarist of Ratt, John Corabi, is an all around rock star. He’ll be gracing the Whisky A Go Go with a solo acoustic performance, performing the hits from The Scream, Mötley Crüe, Union and many more of his personal favorites on March 18. This show will celebrate the release of his autobiography Horseshoes & Hand Grenades and an upcoming solo album in 2021.

Out of all of his rock ‘n roll ventures, Corabi is probably most known as the former singer of Mötley Crüe during Vince Neil’s hiatus. He joined the iconic rock band in 1992 and recorded the self-titled Mötley Crüe album in 1994 and the EP Quaternary. The heavier, more elaborate albums produced under Corabi’s tenure wasn’t very popular with the die-hard fans, and their label refused to work with the band without Vince Neil after that. Corabi said about his experience, “my record was the first record that they had done that didn’t go platinum, didn’t make some sort of crazy noise, and everybody panicked…the album would have made it if this was under a different band name.”

Corabi moved on to more projects and continued to work with some rock legends. He’s ready to fly solo, so be sure check out the new album when it’s released and catch his nostalgic live performance.
