‘You and Me’ at the Fox Theater to See Shallou on 6/25/2021

John Boston, also known as Shallou, is a popular Los Angeles-based singer and producer. From his own label, Sleeptalker, Shallou has released a series of tracks and projects that have incorporated soulful vocals and trancelike beats to cement its own place in the electronic music industry. Born and raised in a family that loved music, Shallou grew up on a steady diet of Radiohead and Wilco. And after graduating, Shallou decided to take his love of music to the professional level, releasing the singles “Heights” and “Doubts” in 2016, both of which garnered a lot of airplay as well as recognition from Billboard, Sirius XM, and more platforms. He has since released an EP called All Becomes Okay in support of the Environmental Defense Fund.

Since the inception of Shallou, Shallou has achieved great success in the last six years of his music career. And this is just the beginning. In 2019, Shallou was announced as a performer for both Coachella and Lollapalooza. He has also toured with the likes of Petit Biscuit, Honne, Roosevelt, and more. On June 25th in the year 2021, however, Bay Area fans can see Shallou in all of his live glory at Fox Theater. Be sure to catch him there on June 25th and continue to follow MXDWN for all of your music updates.
