The Lone Bellow Are Coming to Union Transfer on 8/13

Zach Williams and the Lone Bellow will be putting on a show at Union Transfer. This group has an incredible story, originally coming to fruition as a songwriting project for Zach Williams, whose wife had suffered temporary paralysis from a horseback riding accident. Williams learned how to play guitar and took his songs from pencil and paper to pick and string. Williams’s wife recovered but his music career was only beginning to take off.

Williams met the other two members of the group in New York and The Lone Bellow was formed in 2011. The group consists of Williams on guitar and lead vocals, Kanene Pipkin on mandolin, bass, keyboard and vocals, and Brian Elmquist on guitar and vocals. The group has released a total of 4 studio albums, all charting on the Billboard 200. Their most recent release, Half Moon Light, came out in February of this year and it peaked at #4 on the Billboard US Folk chart.
