Fulfill Your ‘Dreams Today’ and Catch Efterklang at Cafe du Nord on 10/30

Efterklang, a Danish rock group founded in Copenhagen, is a popular collective that was first formed in 2000. With the word, efterklang, coming from the Danish word for “remembrance” or “reverberation”, Efterklang’s music is meant to reverberate around the world. The core lineup of the rock group currently consists of Casper Clausen, Mads Brauer, and Rasmus Stolberg and is accompanied by five more members when performing live. Efterklang first released their debut album, Tripper, to critical acclaim in 2004. Their second album, Parades, saw much of the same praise, garnering recognition from Mojo and Stylus magazine. Since their sophomore album, Efterklang has released four more albums, all to great success.

Efterklang is most notable for its experimental aspect; the band takes a very D.I.Y. approach to their music, controlling all aspects of songwriting, recording, and production of their own content. On October 30th, however, Efterklang’s Bay Area fans will get to see Efterklang in all their glory live in action at Cafe du Nord. This event is not one to be missed so be sure to catch Efterklang at Cafe du Nord and continue to follow MXDWN for all your music updates.
