Giving off an experimental, loud, surfer rock style, Wavves perfects the method of a hazy noise pop sound. Wavves was quick to gain widespread attention, highly sought after by many record labels right off the bat. Wavves is the brainchild of lead singer and songwriter Nathan Williams in 2008, taking it from his parents garage, to his own business, Ghostramp, a skateshop and record label.
Starting with their self titled album, Wavves quickly started doing world tours, and followed up with their next album Wavvves (2009). Their third album, King of the Beach, has reached it’s 10 year anniversary mark, and is the focus of their current tour, it features hits such as Green Eyes, Post Acid, and the album titled track King of the Beach. Of course the band also has more recent albums that are highly worth checking out such as Afraid of Heights, V, and You’re Welcome.
Be sure to be a part of the 10th anniversary of King of the Beach, whether you’re a new fan or old.
