My Chemical Romance will end their Fall 2021 Tour with four Los Angeles dates at The Forum 10/11, 10/12, 10/14, 10/17, 2021

The newly reunited ’00-era alt rock band My Chemical Romance had planned on making a splash with a spring 2020 tour. Due to Covid-19, the tour was rescheduled to Fall 2021, and a new set of tour dates was announced on their social media. The fall tour will begin on September 8 with single-day dates across the US. Los Angeles will be graced with four dates, October 11, 12, 14 and 17 so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to see their show at the Forum, or you can also see them all!

The band gained notoriety from their emo-punk sound and neo-gothic look. The inspiration for their formation was after September 11, 2001, when the World Trade Center towers were struck down. Although they were born out of catastrophe, their music has touched the lives of many. Their hit single “Welcome to the Black Parade” launched them into the main stream. The group disbanded in 2013 after releasing a series of 7″ singles of previously unreleased songs they had recorded during their Danger Days sessions.

In late 2019, the band announced that they would be reuniting for the first time in six years, at the Shrine Expo Hall on December 20, 2019. Since their reunion, the band have been quietly releasing new music, including a cryptic video entitled “An Offering…” Frontman Gerard Way has also released some singles on Soundcloud, so perhaps fans can expect to hear some new music in addition to their hit favorites.
