Get Lost in the ’80s with Thomas Dolby and Flock of Seagulls at the Greek Theater 9/3/21

While the ’80s-inspired Cruel World Fest has been cancelled indefinitely, you can still get your dose of the ’80s next September at Lost ’80s Live at the Greek Theater. The full festival lineup will consist of Thomas Dolby, A Flock of Seagulls, The Romantics, Missing Persons, Farrington and Mann, Naked Eyes, The Vapors, Glass Tiger, Animotion, Musical Youth, Burning Sensations and Josie Cotton.

The Lost 80’s Live tour has been described by thousands of concert goers as “a greatest hits show of the ’80s and a rare opportunity to experience so many great bands in one concert, one night, on one stage.” The tour was initially scheduled to run this year, but has been pushed to 2021 due to Covid-19.

Although Thomas Dolby didn’t have many hits during his prime, he maintained a strong following by creating a reputation for himself as an egghead or mad scientist with synths. A Flock of Seagulls are even more of a household name with ’80s pop hits under their belt like “I Ran so Far Away” and “Space Age Love Song.”

If you’re a Gen-Xer or just a fan of the ’80s, this show is definitely not to be missed! This Reagan era tour features some of the most recognizable acts from that great decade.
