Kiss was one of the most prominent and eccentric rock bands during the 70s. They were formed in New York City in 1973 by Gene Simmons, Peter Criss, Paul Stanley and Ace Frehey. Their music explores a plethora of rock music sub genres including disco rock, heavy metal and soft rock and they have remained relevant in today’s ever-changing mold of music trends. After playing their first big concert in Manhattan in 1973, Kiss released their self-titled debut album a year later and their fan base has grown continuously since then. Kiss is well-known to all music lovers around the world and they captivate their audiences during their explosive live performances packed with smoke bombs and fire. Many fans have grown to love their flashy style, rocking their signature face painted look complimented by their glittering outfits. It’s hard not to love their delightfully weird and quirky getup! With their lovable loud guitar anthems, Kiss set the stage for not only 80s pop metal, but hard rock music of the 90s and 2000s.
Don’t miss Kiss on their last tour ever this fall!
