Born Bruno Major on July 15, 1988, Major is a British singer-songwriter and guitarist whose debut album, A Song for Every Moon, was released in 2017. However, Major’s career began long before that. Born and raised in Northampton, England, Major eventually moved to London to jumpstart his career initially as a jazz musician. Major eventually changed his specialization to guitar and since then, has pursued his solo career. He first released his EP, Live, in 2014 under Atlantic Records. However, after being released from the label, Major decided to start his own project to release a song every month for a year that he himself wrote and recorded. This became the 12-song album, A Song for Every Moon.
Since then, Bruno Major has toured in the U.S. and Europe, opened for Sam Smith, and performed for music festivals. He later went on a tour of Asia for the first time in his career. On September 25th, however, Bruno Major will be coming to the Bay Area once again to perform at Oakland’s iconic Fox Theater. There, he will be performing his hit songs like ‘Easily’, ‘Places We Don’t Walk’, and ‘Fair-Weather Friend’.
