I think we can all agree that the late 90s and early 2000s were a prominent time in the age of hard rock. If that’s what you were all about back then (and still are now), you definitely won’t want to miss it when Breaking Benjamin comes to Austin’s Germania Insurance Amphitheater on Tuesday, August 11th. Along with them will be fellow hard rock bands Bush and Theory of a Deadman, also featuring performances by modern post-grunge band Saint Asonia and country rock artist Cory Marks. Doors to this powerhouse event will be opening at 4:00pm with the first band to take the stage an hour later at 5pm. General admission tickets are currently going for $29.50 at the lowest price.
Breaking Benjamin became one of the most celebrated bands in hard rock music in the early 2000s with hits like “The Diary of Jane”, “So Cold” and “Sooner or Later” to name a few. The band released their full-length debut album Saturate in 2002 and have put out six studio albums in total. Many of these albums featured songs that got heavy radio play and made quite the impression on rock fans. With emotional and thought provoking lyrics along with the powerful vocals by frontman Benjamin Burnley, Breaking Benjamin creates hard rock with a nostalgic grungey edge and moments of pure melodic bliss. Their latest work Aurora was released earlier this year and is a compilation of reimagined versions of some of their biggest hits.
Don’t miss this phenomenal event for all fans of rock at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater this summer!
