JR JR Performing Live at Antone’s Nightclub 6/13

JR JR, formerly known as Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., is an eclectic indie pop band that formed out of Detroit in 2009 by members Daniel Zott and Joshua Epstein. With an upbeat and poppy sound blended with indie folk and elements of synthwave, JR JR’s music is appealing in many ways. The duo put out their debut album It’s a Corporate World in 2011 and have released four albums and five EPs in total. They have made appearances at multiple popular music festivals including Austin’s very own ACL as well as Lollapalooza and many more. Their music has also been featured in several forms of media such as television shows, commercials and films.

Last year, the band released their latest album Invocations/Conversations, a collection of happy, sad songs that you can sing along to and really feel at the same time. JR JR creates music with a truly upbeat sound and with an energetic stage presence, these guys will get you grooving along with them. They just released their new single “This Side of Paradise” on Spotify today so go check it out!
