If there’s one rapper every person who considers themselves from the Bay Area knows, it’s E-40. With a pair of wire-rimmed glasses sitting ever on his face, E-40, also known as Earl Stevens, is one of the founding fathers of the Bay Area hyphy movement along with the legendary Mac Dre and Keak da Sneak. With a career spanning twenty-five years and twenty-eight studio albums to date, E-40 has undoubtedly helped shape Bay Area music into what it is today.
On August 7th, however, E-40 will be bringing the Bay Area to the Central Californian coast. That’s right, E-40 will be leaving the Bay Area for one night to perform at The Catalyst in Santa Cruz. While he’s there, E-40 will be sure to perform his hits throughout the two-and-half decades he’s been active, from “Function” to “Snap Yo Fingers”. From when doors open at 9 PM PST to 12 AM PST, E-40 will bring his trip down memory lane to over eight-hundred audience members of all ages (16+). This Bay Area icon is coming to the Catalyst in Santa Cruz on August 7, 2020. Don’t miss it, and don’t miss MXDWN.COM! Follow Mxdwn for all your music updates.
