Iconic Texas country singer Willie Nelson is putting on a show at the Whitewater Amphitheater in New Braunfels this September on Friday, the 4th and Saturday, the 5th. The shows have been postponed from their original dates in April to the new dates on Labor Day weekend. All tickets previously purchased will be honored for the new dates so there will be no missing out here! Doors to the event will open at 7:30pm on both nights and the music will begin an hour later at 8:30 with an opening performance by fellow Texas country artist Pat Green. General admission tickets are starting at $48.

If you live in Texas, you know that Willie Nelson is widely embraced here. Known for hits like “Crazy” and “On the Road Again” as well as for his long braided hair and bandanas, Nelson has had undeniable success over the years. He became a prominent contribution to the outlaw country music scene in the late 1960s and his 1973 album Shotgun Willie became one of his greatest according to many fans. Nelson took an unconventional approach to country music, blending it with jazz, blues, folk and rock, creating his unique form of outlaw country. His songs have been covered by countless artists and enjoyed by people all around the world so it’s no surprise that he became inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Now in his 80’s, Willie Nelson is still getting out there and bringing crowds together and it doesn’t look like he’ll be stopping anytime soon!

Don’t miss a performance by the country music legend himself this Labor Day weekend at the Whitewater Amphitheater!
