Bruce Springsteen, SZA, Halsey and More Announced for New Jersey Coronavirus Benefit Concert

Several prominent musical acts including Bruce Springsteen, SZA, Bon Jovi, Halsey, Tony Bennett, Charlie Puth and Chelsea Handler, will be taking part in the JERSEY 4 JERSEY virtual benefit concert. This event will feature at-home performances by these artists in support of the state of New Jersey’s Pandemic Relief Fund.

The New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund (NJPRF) will be hosting the event, which will be broadcast on local television, radio, and online via Apple Music and E Street Radio on SiriusXM. This event will take place on Wednesday, April 22nd at 7 p.m. EST.

Each of these artists are either from New Jersey. or spent a formative amount of their personal lives in the state. Springsteen is one of the most iconic artists from New Jersey, and still lives in the state after leaving his former home of California during the 1990s. His most recent studio album Western Stars was released last year to critical and commercial success.

SZA grew up in Maplewood, New Jersey before she ventured off to college in Delaware. She eventually came into contact with various people from Top Dawg Entertainment, released a series of acclaimed mixtapes and released her debut studio album CTRL back in 2017. She appeared on “Power Is Power” alongside The Weeknd and Travis Scott last year.

Halsey was born in Edison, New Jersey and gained attention after self-releasing her music on various digital platforms. Her latest studio album Manic came out at the beginning of this year.
