Imani Coppola Releases Uplifting Video for “In This Together” Featuring Cameos from Titus Burgess, Rahzel, Mike Patton, Larry Ratso and More

Snger-songwriter Imani Coppola has released a new music video titled “In This Together,” which features numerous cameos from people such as musicians Taylor Hanson of Hanson, Mike Patton of Faith No More and Mr, Bungle, along with actor Larry Ratso, who appeared in Uncut Gems and Sid and Nancy.

The video is composed of various clips of people in self-isolation, which are taken from multiple video and social media platforms. “In This Together” is an upbeat and optimistic pop track, that reassures the listener that they are not alone during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused many people across the world to self-isolate.

“I used Facebook and Instagram and asked for quarantine videos, doing nothing specific at first, and as the vision developed I was able to give a little direction,” Imani explained in a press release. “I received so many adorable videos, kept me company while I’m home sheltering alone and dealing with the loudness of solitude. Anthony had a really funny idea to make it seem like they’re all having a video chat, perfect strangers having the time of their life on the phone together.”

Coppola released a music video titled “SAMO,” last year, which was filled with numerous references to acclaimed visual artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. SAMO was an art tag frequently used in collaboration between Basquiat and Al Diaz, who were a part of New York City’s graffiti scene.

The performer released her latest studio album titled The Protagonist last year.
