STRFKR Performing Live at Stubb’s BBQ 6/20

Indie electro rockers STRFKR are going on tour and will be hitting up Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater this summer on Saturday, June 20th. Doors to this all ages event will be opening at 7pm and the show will start with an opening performance by psychedelic indie band The Undercover Dream Lovers. You can purchase advance general admission tickets now for $25. Ticket prices increase to $27 if you get them at the door.

Starting out in 2007 as the solo project of vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Joshua Hodges, STRFKR emerged as a full band creating music for your modern dance party. They released their debut album Starfucker in 2008 containing the track “Rawnald Gregory Erickson the Second” which ended up being featured in television ads and shows. STRFKR are known and loved for making dancey electronic music and for their exuberant live performances where they sometimes wear bright colorful wigs and always keep the audience guessing. The band’s latest work is a series of albums titled Vault  including previously unreleased tracks that take the listener behind the scenes of the musical process that is STRFKR.

Catch STRFKR with a live performance you won’t want to miss this summer at Stubb’s!
