These guests include A Day to Remember, Underoath and Code Orange. With a lineup like this, you can expect tickets to be going fast so get yours now! Slipknot became one of the most prominent bands during the time when nu metal was at its prime and have since been continuing their streak of mixing hard metal with rap and rocking the stage with their creepy masks on. Slipknot formed in 1995 in Des Moines, Iowa and released their self-titled album in 1999. The band intrigued metal fans everywhere with their high-energy live performances and continue to do so with ease. Their latest album titled We Are Not Your Kind was released just last year and the album has reached #1 on the charts in several countries around the world.
A Day to Remember will be there to bring a refreshing hint of pop punk to this heavy metal party, but keep in lines with their elements of metalcore. The band officially formed in 2003 out of Florida and made their first full length album debut of And Their Name Was Treason in 2005. A Day to Remember has released six studio albums in total including their most recent Bad Vibrations, a more organic style for the band as a whole. They released the single “Resentment” in November of last year. If you ever found yourself at a Vans Warped Tour (like me several years in a row) you more than likely were lucky enough to see them live at least once!
Underoath is a post-hardcore band also from Florida and they began making their way into the metalcore scene starting in the late 90s. The release of their 2004 album They’re Only Chasing Safety was the beginning of their streak of success followed by Define the Great Line which was released two years later. After quite the hiatus, Underoath returned with their 2018 album Erase Me which dives into a whirlwind of emotions that one faces amidst the human condition of clashing over belief systems.
You’ll be getting a little bit of everything as far as metal music goes, so if you’re a fan of Slipknot or any of these bands, you won’t be disappointed when you check out this phenomenal event!
