Colorado based indie folk band The Lumineers released their third album III last year and are going on a world tour this summer/fall in support of it. The band will be making a stop in Austin at the Erwin center on Friday, September 18th. Doors to this all ages event are set to open at 7pm and the show to begin at 8 with opening performances by fellow folk artists Daniel Rodriguez and Gregory Alan Isakov. You can purchase general admission tickets now for $23 at the lowest price.

The Lumineers first got recognition from the success of their 2012 self-titled debut album featuring breakout tracks “Ho Hey” and “Ophelia”. Mastering the art of mixing folk with rock and putting on passionate live performances, the band has accumulated quite a fanbase over the years and has sold out multiple arena shows all around the world. Their latest album is a story that is split into three chapters, exploring the turmoil of addiction and is inspired by a family member of vocalist Wesley Schultz. It is an emotional journey for both the author and the listener in a beautifully constructed way.

Catch The Lumineers this September at the Erwin Center!
