AWOLNATION Performing Live at Stubb’s as Part of The Lightning Riders Tour 6/13

Electronic rock band AWOLNATION are going on tour this summer and will be hitting up Austin’s Stubb’s BBQ on Saturday, June 13th. Along with the band will be special guests Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, The Beaches and Bleeker. Doors to this all ages show will open at 5:30pm with the first performance to start at 6:30. Advanced general admission tickets are going for $42 and will be $45 on the day of the show.

You may know AWOLNATION best from their aggressive dark pop song “Sail” that became a big hit when it was released in 2011. Multi-instrumentalist Aaron Bruno started working on what would soon become AWOLNATION in 2009 and by the time the band officially formed, their debut album Megalithic Symphony was released in 2011 and quickly became platinum with its unpredictable dancey beats and Bruno’s vocal combination of aggressive screaming and melodic falsetto. AWOLNATION’s music has been used in many films, television shows and commercials and their newest album Angel Miners & the Lightning Riders which features hit single “The Best” is set to be released on April 24th.
