Maroon 5 w/ Meghan Trainor Live at Germania Insurance Amphitheater 6/7

The early 2000s were a monumental time for pop music and one of the most distinguished groups that began their musical career during that time was Maroon 5. The funky pop rock band started out in 2001 and released their breakout debut album Songs About Jane later the next year, receiving positive feedback and setting the stage for their place in the mainstream. The album features the tracks “This Love” and “Harder to Breathe” which were the band’s first hits to make it on the mainstream radio as well as on popular music video countdowns like VH1’s Top 20 Countdown.

A decade after the band’s debut, frontman Adam Levine began balancing making music with the band and being a coach on NBC’s reality talent show The Voice from 2011-2019. Maroon 5’s latest album Red Pill Blues was released in 2018 and contains tracks featuring artists such as SZA, Kendrick Lamar and Cardi B. The band was nominated to headline The Superbowl Halftime Show a year after the release.

Maroon 5 will be going on tour later this year and will be making an appearance in Austin this summer on Sunday, June 7th at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater. Joining the band will be pop R&B songstress Meghan Trainor whose newest album Treat Myself was just released in late January. Doors to this all ages show open at 6pm and the music will begin at 7pm.
